Counseling Provided through NFMC Grant Program
Individual counseling and group education sessions on the foreclosure process to help families avoid losing their homes. Work directly with a counselor you can trust to develop a plan and negotiate with your lender. A certified counselor can help you find options to avoid foreclosure and work out the best plan for you and your family.
Schedule an Appointment
Contact our office to schedule a confidential session with a counselor. There is no charge for this service. We will help you review your current mortgage, financial situation, available resources and help you develop an action plan. Our goal is to make sure that you understand all of the options that are available to you.
Documents to Bring with You
Gather your original loan documents, recent statement and correspondence from your lender/servicer, monthly bills, proof of income (paystubs, benefit award letters, unemployment), bank statements, tax returns and other financial documents. If you have trouble locating these documents, please keep your appointment. We will assist you. Do not delay.
